Road Side Vending: Gyros (Woodbrook Trinidad)

The new trend that have been hitting Trinidad shores for the past few years has been a yummy invasion of Gyros. This dish is a must have after partying on the avenue at 3:00am in the morn, it will sober you right up (nope) but it certainly tastes yummy going down!! Yousef Gyros is one of many Gyro Vendors that line the street corners on the avenue. They serve a variation of a flat bread wrapped in meat (chicken, shrimp, falafel, beef, pork) with lettuce and tomatoes. This dish (Middle Eastern) is a true representation of the melting pot culture that Trinidad embraces theres no discrimination here especially when you bring tasty food.
